As well they should! You have good friends to point out the egregiousness of that mistake.

It costs the Flyers a 2nd rounder to get rid of him

The flyers have had more than their share of freak accidents, etc, Yanick Dupre with Leukemia, Tim Kerr's wife died during child birth.
One would think sooner or later the injury thing would even out.

May be time to put William Penn on a large pedestal so he looks over the other buildings in the city.

You would think their luck would even out at some point. Look at Peter Zezel dying at an extremely young age, and Brad McCrimmon being killed in a plane crash. The list is endless.

It was a impulse buy. The Straka hit + contract extension = worst 150 bones i have ever spent. My friends still break my balls about it to this day

Should have went with the Kyle McLaren jersey.

Or if they super-imposed a goal horn after a Flyers goal.

The Flyers will inevitably get screwed over by the stripes, too.

OLN was just a disgrace. I believe one year the NHL All-Star game was actually on OLN, and it got crushed in the ratings by the Andy Griffith marathon on TV Land.

The people complaining about the Kronwall hit yesterday must have been LIVID with Lindros and this hit on Dackell. He was defenseless and the hit was clearly predatory.

OLN became vs which became NBC sports. Looks like they finally figured it out.

Yep. Much better now. NBC Sports actually has some worth while programming other than hockey. OLN didn't and Versus had very little.

Thus far, this has been a more "typical" Flyers season, in that they historically have been red hot in Nov-Dec, struggled in January and February and then seem to come on again in March (while piling up injuries). It was that way with the Keenan teams, Lindros era spanning Terry Murray to Roger Neilson, Bill Barber and Hitchcock clubs up to Stevens teams. Not sure why.

Jim McCrossin has been through all these years mentioned.

Jim McCrossin came to the Flyers in 2002, which according to my yearbook, was well after the Keenan years, as well as the Lindros and Terry Murray/Roger Neilson Eras, too. Also, he missed the Bill Barber years by one.

But, hey, what do actual facts matter?
