He will absolutely be there if healthy and the nhl allows the players to go. This is his first full year and he is already on the top pair playing 25-30 minutes a night. He is a head of staal. Also, his skating is a huge plus - bonzo11
i was gonna pont this out(HUGE fan of MCD,but didnt want to get mad at my self) |

Kevin Shattenkirk deserves a spot as well. Underrated offensive defenseman. |

Ryan McDonagh is an unbelievable young defenseman who is only gonna get better. I think he'll win a Norris at some point in his career and should be in the conversation this year. He slotted in for Marc Staal who is one of the best shutdown DMEN in the league and has not disappointed. US has the advantage with goaltending and is close with their Dmen but the forwards for Canada is like a sick joke. Giroux, Crosby, Stamkos, Toews, Tavares, Perry, Getzlaf, Nuge...... i mean come on thats just unfair |

Myers was born in Houston, TX . So he would be American unless he has duel citizenship... But I dont know. But if he is American, he is a top pairing guy on the American Squad for sure - Ducksfan93
He's always played internationally for Canada. |

He's been mentioned in this thread a few times. I don't think he is in anyone's top 6 though :/ |

the Swedes are my favorites heading into the tournament. Kronwall-Karlsson,
Edler-Enstrom, Hedman-Larsson on D plus the top 6 you mentioned in addition to Hank in net. That's an insanely solid team. - RAG$4LIFE
As good as their D is, it won't be quite as good as Canada's. Their top 6 forwards could match up against any other team's but their bottom 6 won't be even close to as good as Canada's. Canada won't have one weak line. I'd probably give Sweden the edge in goal. |

Keith Seabrook combo won't be invited back.
2014 will be the Hamhuis Bieksa combo. |
|
|
|
Justin Faulk will be on the American D squad, perhaps 1st or 2nd line.
Already playing #1 minutes and putting up solid numbers as a 19 year old, learn the name Justin Faulk. He will be a Calder finalist by the end of the year as well. |
