Don't forget that if Austria doesn't make it to the Olympic games because they are knocked out early...
That Vanek could play for the USA.
Myers is better than Pietrangelo as well.
Pommer could be an alternate for USA but who knows.
Miller would be third behind Quick/Thomas.
If Germany doesn't make it to the Olympics either.. then Ehrhoff could play for either Canada or USA because he has citizenship in all 3 - JVince117
Just because Erhoff has played on Canadian and American teams does not make him a Canadian or American citizen. Erhoff was not in Canada long enough too be a citizen. Not sure about the States.

There is no reason he should be, you can't use an average performance behind a stellar team 4 years ago (once the time comes) to justify putting him on the team. This guy has done nothing but crack under pressure since that medal win and its a minor miracle he pulled that off. Not only one of the most over rated goalies in the NHL but one of the most over rated athletes in sports |

Who will be Team USA's captain in 2014?
My guess is either Parise or Callahan. But I could see Suter, Kesler, or Backes wearing the C too. |

funniest thing about this whole topic is that we all seem to be forgetting how the last Olympics went....having stars (USA,SWE) or multiple superstars (CAN) barely means anything if you dont have a hot goalie, anyone remember what Hiller and Halak almost did to us?
it all doesnt matter in the end, at this point and in this era the Goalie needs to be on point like its the cup finals (gm7) all day every day the top 4 or 5 teams all have 6 D who play in the NHL they all know how to shut down these superstars, they play in the league
its a fact, its all about D and Goaltending Fleury and Price have both proven they can win at the highest stage, same with Lundqvist and Kiprussoff (altho its clearly the Rinne show in FIN now) Miller and Luongo not so much

You're just a sheeple to the media. 10 bucks says he's on the team. |

Crosby's performance in the Olympics was probably below average - apart from of course the winning goal. He did nothing the rest of the way. Do you think he'll be there? |

Here's a question for ya, who is the coach for US in 2014?
My choice, Blysma (I know, Homer pick). I just think seeing these young, talented American players playing his style of hockey would be fun to watch. |

Yes but (take away the injuries) luongo cant even shake a stick at what crosby has done in the NHL since the olympics. All luongo has done is lose the big game when his team needs him....... that was a really sad argument |
