Fair enough... Let me know when Tavares, Eberle, and Hall play a regular season at Crosby's level and I will reconsider.
And with the rest of that line-up they did win the gold but didn't they also lose two games or was it just one to USA in the prelims? - JVince117
Just USA. Everybody is a first time player at the olympics at some point. Not comparing them to crosby, but there is no denying that they are good players. Guys like Eberle, Tavares and Hall are no rookies in international play. Go look up the 2009 WJRS to see Eberle btw, wasn't Miller a first time Olympian in Vancouver? |

I know, right? Who would give the most explosive player in the game a shot when we have Patrick Marleau, Brendan Morrow and Dany Heatly sitting at home with Olympic expirience. - leebrien21
Do you think Chris Chelios has a shot at the US roster? |

Touche!
My only this is that Miller/Crosby/Stamkos had been in the NHL for years before joining hte Olympic ranks. It just might be too early for Hall, Eberle, and Tavares.
I think Tavares and Eberle are great talents but I would imagine that Nash would be better automatically. |

he is having a great year thats true . . . but he had great years before and he had a couple dreadful ones! one good year dont cut it in my eyes . . . how about Jim Carey that year he back stopped to Capitials he played great won the vezina and where was he 2 years later???? if Spezza comes out next year and puts up the same numbers then he should be on the team but untill then i well leave him home - jonathonpeddle
just FYI, the years that his numbers dropped he was injured. he's still pretty much maintained at or close to a PPG pace his entire career. |

Hamhuis is from B.C... we could have 6 defenseman on Team Canada before Ontario even has 1. - Scooby_Doo
Holy (frank)in Devil's Advocate!?!?!
Keep reachin', because THAT'S what's important!
Since you brought it up, it's funny how you fail to mention that ONTARIO born players will be providing more fire-power up front than any other Province.

Time will tell. No matter who they select, they will have the deepest roster by far. Kind of a silly debate anyways, still 2 years away. Lot can change |

I personally don't think Crosby will be able to play hockey at all in 2 years.
There could be some changes to that Canadian Roster. |

Canada has the best soldiers in the world JTF2 could kick the sh*t out of your navy seals. In war games the Canadian paratroop regiment regularly used to beat the sh*t out of your green berets too. |
