Hi fellow leafs fans, just want to give you guys a little bit of info on Carter Ashton seeing as how i watched him play junior hockey here in regina for 3 years and a bit before we traded him to tri city, now i may be a little bit blind in my view of the kid because of the fact that he played for my home town team, but what i seen out of him is ALOT of potential, hees got some size and very good speed, definite top 6 potential in him, albeit i havent kept a close watch on him over this year, but the guy was a very good player when I did see him here in Regina and I am looking VERY forward to seeing what he can do in a leafs jersey. For what I read in the comments about the trade, I am one of few that actually was okay with trading Aulie for Ashton, if he works hard and gains a bit of size, he could have ALOT of upside for us.
