You are too funny!

Wasn't #27 the last pick in his draft?
What should we expect from #2?

Well, that's a pretty sh!tty question.

Deserter. Gotta face a General Court Martial for skipping out of last game without a valid excuse.

Court will convene at 0430.

Never has, Never will. He is what he is - but he skates beautifully.

He is a good skater. I have a feeling he'll make his presense felt soon, as he usually does. The team needs him.

Sarcasm sweetie -- I can't stand Legwand and think he's a distraction and hinderance to anyone on his line. This is the best year he has had goal wise, but the bad passes and lack of effort is as usual - bad

He has scored 27 goals in a season at least once when kariya was on his line. Leggy, say what you will, shows up when playoff time comes around and there is no denying that

Not a quick answer to D's question and one already alluded to by others here, but Erat has looked strong and is overall playing good hockey. Last night was no exception.

Btw, Preds are fine. We may not be able to catch Blues/Wings but I see zero wheels falling off this team. Rather, I see many other teams playing much better than they were and with greater determination/desire/intensity which the Preds have yet to fully match. I'm pretty sure Preds will do just that.

Erat is having a really good year. Not a $6M good year, but a good year nonetheless. As much as I think he's being overpaid right now, I think that as his contract starts to diminish, he's going to be one of the biggest bargains in the league. That being said, he too loses many a battle along the boards, and he still makes those passes to nowhere which drive me insane. Still, I'm glad he's ours. He's come a long way since being an inaugural member of the Vowel Line.

Yep. The Hornster was dead last - #230 in the 7th and final round.

Meanwhile, out of that draft, he currently stands in 8th place for goals scored and 14th for points. And he's in 6th place for plus/minus out of that same group.

Not too shabby a pick. Go Patric!

Mr. Irrelevant is anything but.

He illustrates exactly why we shouldn't be at all upset about giving up a first for Gaustad. Our later round picks have often turned out better than our first round picks.

He absolutely does. One of our best playoff performers every year. However, to LadyPreds' point, I really hope he stops with those soft-handed sissy passes he's been doing for about a month now. Those have been a liability several times and they often result in a turnover. I don't even know when and why he started doing it, but he hasn't been doing it all season.

Let me clarify my feelings.
I Love all of our Preds.
Sometimes frustration gets the better of me and I have to vent.
Probably as Terry says the "Baby" passes bring out the worst in me.

Wings-suck was being his usual sarcastically driven self...his "shitty" reference was meant to be bathroom humor directed at your posting of the phrase "#2". That was the source, not anything directed at the intent of your post.

Sarcasm was not overlooked. All else to the side, he is a good skater - fluid.

Stating the obvious, but another desparate bubble team playing very well of late. Preds need to show up and dominate tonight. Show us you have what it takes to do the woodshed thing.

I feel good about the Preds chances the next four games. Yes, even against Detroit. LA has been bothersome this season. Despite our win two games ago, we've never outplayed them this season. That's where the Preds really need to send a message.

Preds outplayed Detroit last time and lost. They need to finish what they started this time. Tonight's game should show us a team that's determined and dedicated. They need to take care of business the next couple of weeks and it starts tonight.
