Karlsson is having one great year. but in the long run he will not be able to do it year in and year out.. He will be scouted and it will be known how to beat him.

Just like Myers was scouted beyond means and now teams know how to prepare for him. Karlsson will come back down to earth.

Myers is better defensively than Karlsson is as well IMO. Myers is more physical than Karlsson too IMO.

They got a nice ransom for him.



He also played there another 4yrs after winning those.

Hes your franchise goalie and an athlete play him.Enroths weaknesses have been exposed recently.Its do or die now win or lose with Miller and let the chips fall where they may.Whats with all this poor Miller needs a rest and hug poopt ?He does tend to suck against Carolina tho ?

at some point this potential needs to turn into norris type play from myers and I have yet to see it for a long stretch of time

the flyers series does not count as a long stretch of time and I have yet to see that play from him on a consistent basis this year

Where Myers has been at the ages of 19-22 when compared to where Chara and Pronger were at during the ages of 19-22.. Myers future looks very bright.

at 23 Weber only played 54 games and had only 20 points

Weber at 21 had 10 points in 28 games for the Preds.

That depends on who Myers plays for at the Olympics.

If he plays for USA he could be a 5th or 6th d-man. But not for Canada.

Ottawa kept Redden over Chara largely in part because Buffalo victimized him in the 2006 playoffs and they felt that he wasn't a defensemen ready to have a franchise built around him. They were right at the time. Chara didn't become that dominant defenseman until a couple of years into his contract with Boston. They do take a while to develop.

He can't play for the US. He already played for Canada in the World Juniors. You can't switch after that.
