I thought that Jason Arnott would have been a really good veteran presence last offseason. He's won championships. He's been around. He's the perfect veteran to have in the locker room, especially around playoff time, kind of like Bill Guerin in Pittsburgh when they won the cup.

Until this season, Antropov never impressed me. There was a reason he was nicknamed "Can'tropov".

Neither Chara or Pronger were like that for the first 5 or so years they were in the league. Myers may turn into that but he need to become an adult first with man weight and man strength. That may take more years than the Sabres are willing to give. Just like the blues with Pronger and the Isles with Chara.
