sekera, to me, is in the mold of alexei zhitnik (including his miles wide shots) whereas at the very least he can log big minutes and hold his own...$2.75m per isn't that far off

In another year we lose Leopold and Regehr... then having Sekera still here is going to be nice. I personally hope that Regehr can continue to play as well as he has this half of the year and we look at signing him to a 1 year extension because he is only gonna be 32 next year. He has done oodles for the young d-men on this team.

Personally, I see Lindy's love affair with Leopold and see us resigning him though.

id sign regher to a multi year (3/4) extension after next year. he can still play at a high level and youre right, he has done a ton for the young dmen on this team
