Bryz earned his money in those last 5 minutes. Wow. Way to gut it out in the face of some serious adversity.

We are a pretty knowledgeable group in here. Almost all of us believed the best way to get Bryz where he needs to be was to ride him, and ride him some more.

Bryz is now playing like the guy we thought we were getting when they signed him. And it couldn't be coming at a better time.

The good news is it looks like Bryzgalov has fixed his game.

Bad news is who is going to be left standing to play in front of him.

Last two home games they have lost two of their top 4 d-men, and three top 9 forwards.

The biggest thing I pulled out of this game is that Briere is terrible, and Bryzgalov is starting to pull through

Of course he did. But if Voracek is skating upright in his normal position and takes that hit, just as hard, in the chest, are we even having this discussion? Saying Kronwall purposefully targeted his head is inaccurate. If his head is not down he gets hit in the chest.

I guess every player should just skate with their heads down low now so that every bit of contact is to their head. And then everyone can say their head was targeted.

Think about that.

I didn't say he purposefully targeted his head. The principal point of contact was the head. And as was already pointed out, it wasn't at the last second or simultaneous with the hit where Voracek got in that position. It's in my opinion without question a suspendable and illegal hit.
