I agree with you but there is no reason to make that hit other than to injure. That's one case where you'd like to see the guy have to answer for it. I'm a big supporter of not having to answer for clean hits but that wasn't clean, it was predatory like most of his hits are.

I will agree it was predatory. That is Kronwall's MO. The only way to put a stop to it is to start running Zetterberg and Datsyuk. As I said, the only way Kronwall avoids head contact there is to avoid the hit altogether.

The refs are losing control of this game.

It was clean in that it wasn't an elbow or a charge. But it was a clear head shot. Principal point of contact was the head, and he had plenty of time to avoid it. He didn't. That's the issue, imo.

Jake had his head down. Ok- sure. He did.

HOWEVER

Kronwall comes in blatantly to injure, but more importantly, hit him SO HARD IN THE HEAD that HIS HELMET POPPED HALF OFF.
