Not an elbow though, used his shoulder/back to the head. Voracek has to keep his hear up there.

Well I guess the third call up will be used for the next game. Injuries taking the fun out of the season again.

I agree Voracek has his head down but Kronwall took a shot at his head. He delivered a blow to the face.

This.

Kronwall isnt going to fight. The hit was to the head but Jake had his head down.

IMO both players are at fault here. Kronwall hitting a defenseless player, Voracek having his head down. Criticize if you must but truth is truth.

Where Voracek was, the only way Kronwall avoids contact with his head is to avoid contact altogether.

Player was defenseless, and head was principal point of contact. If Shannahan sticks to his formula, that should be a suspension.
- BringBack25

He wasn't defenseless....he was dumb and tired and hung his head like Mr. Ed!! Cmon Jake was out on a 3 minute shift

I think it was a check that could of been avoided. Im not against being physical and laying people out. Voracek has to have his head up. Just dont like that he got hit in the head.

Clean hit, Voracek was too busy admiring how pretty the puck looked on his stick. It was his own fault.

Don't agree with that. He had time to line him up and pick his spot. He didn't need to hit him in the head. He could easily have missed his head and still crushed him. This wasn't a case of a player making a last second move that puts his head in the line of fire. Kronwall had all day to make that hit and chose to hit him in the head. He had plenty of other options, and plenty of time to chose one.

Kronwall hits like a freight train. I don't think it was dirty to be honest. I think he's a chickenpoop for not answering for it, but what are you going to do.

Voracek slamming his head on the ice after the hit was even worse. Just terrible.

I agree with you but there is no reason to make that hit other than to injure. That's one case where you'd like to see the guy have to answer for it. I'm a big supporter of not having to answer for clean hits but that wasn't clean, it was predatory like most of his hits are.
