I thought the same thing as I was reading this...how the hell did Tim even find out that the meeting took place? Stuff like that needs to stay in the room. Talk about not being a good teammate - blabbing about a team-only meeting to Dramacio would have to pretty high on the list of things that make one a bad teammate.

I was thinking the same thing. How is Briere being a good teammate by discussing that with the press?

Wow Briere actually commented that management had words with Bryz? He really does need to worry more about what he himself can do for the team.
- Just5

That's the part that had me shaking my head. If Tim somehow found out about the meeting and confronted Briere, I guess I understand why he would answer and not lie about it. But he certainly doesn't have to volunteer more information.

Hopefully the leadership committee and management will pay Briere a visit next, and tell him to start being a better teammate by putting the puck in the damn net.

Why do the players feed him though? Briere and coburn spewing team leader meetings specifically for bryz? We shouldn't know about that stuff IMO, and that's on the players
- Just5

I agree. Danny's too media savvy to fall for this. I'm disappointed.

To me.

Who cares if he said anything.

Everyone knew that Bryzgalov was struggling and he more than likely had a few meetings.

It doesnt effect what I think of the on ice performance by Bryzgalov. I could care less if he met with peter pan to try and get some magic dust.

Just because a few retarded reporters will cream their pants to find out such info and be able to spin it doesn't make me question Briere. Bryzgalov had a meeting, so what.

When? Where? Why? I would be more concerned if nobody was talking to him cause that means they're pretty much done with you.

I could give a rats ass if the guy is putting pickles in his nose not talking to the guys as long as he has a consistent effort on the ice.

i agree. i'd rather i didn't know about it at all. i don't like tim digging at this crap, and i don't like briere revealing that kind of information. it's easy for briere to blather on about being a good teammate while he disappears for a quarter of a season, and isn't the struggling new guy playing the most important position in a city starving for a cup.

Thanks. I try not to meander so, as I am prone to doing when speaking.

I believe I was due for a doozy. Have to make up for the absences of Jsaq (VH concert) and hammarby (goalie guild meeting) tonight.

I got a feeling that there's going to be some backlash from the team on this. Especially the front office. I firmly believe this was another exhibit on creative writing it wouldn't be the first time and won't be the last. Ok so what did they do with the other half a dozen or so who haven't been pulling their weight?

Yea If I'm Bryz and lost a game after I posted a shutout or only gave up one goal like he's been doing, I'd have some poop to say to the highest paid winger who hasn't scored a goal in two months.
Something just doesn't jive with this, either these players are complete a-holes or someone's completely stretched or twisted the truth again.

Bruins have signed Marty Turco. Rask is out with a strained groin, 4-6 weeks.
- BulliesPhan87

Turco wouldn't be playoff eligible since he signed after the deadline...right?

Was there any further word on Timonen or Meszaros? I thought I saw someone post earlier that Timonen doesn't have a disc problem, but there was no link...

Thought so. Kinda lame for him if he ends up being more than a spectator down the stretch drive. Gotta figure he'll see a game or two. Then second week of April it is "see ya later Marty". Guess it lets other teams interested in a goalie for next year get a look at him. I imagine he'll look old and rusty
