I had the game on PVR. Watched it without knowing the score ahead of time. Bryz and the Flyers played a great road game. Almost playoff like hockey.

Please keep Bryz away from any microphones or cameras though. His interview with Engblom at ice level right after the game might have appeared endearing to some, but it made him look like an ass clown to me.

the language barrier has so much to do with his being zany, imo. you can tell by the faces he makes that the wording and phrasing of things makes no sense to him. now instead of talking about how he feels (as he did because i think he's just an honest dude), he's praising teammates, etc.

He was ducking the confidence question, but whatev. Most goalies wouldn't answer straight up anyways I suppose. Like o&B said there's the language thing going on too. It's his stoopid grin and the way he answers. Less is more for him I think.

I despise those ice level interviews, especially right after a game. He did really good with the teammates comment. He just came off sounding phoney with the "Oh wow" thing imo. Just go with the standard "taking it one game at a time" answer. No big deal. Like I said earlier, for him, less is more.
