It really is just Three scoring lines... If we had three scoring lines...

Even though Kaleta has been impressive lately... He's showing he could actually be a decent 3rd liner... I really like that Gerb-Leino-Kaleta line...

If Boyes rolls... Anybody think they resign him?

- BuffaloKyle

I am sure someone will. I mean Cheechoo is still getting try outs and is in what STL's AHL right now? or is he back in SJ?

Just looking at teams that could be on the verge of needing to rebuild their roster and the assets that could come off of those teams.

either way. Miller v Lundqvist or Miller v Thomas. The sh!t history is made of.

I am guilty of rewatching all of the scrums and fights and hits of the last two playoffs against Philly and Boston on Sunday morning.

I cannot wait for playoff hockey I just hope Buffalo continues this tear.

Myers hitting Versteeg flying into the air onto his back is my favorite.

- JVince117

the sabres as a team manned-up against both clubs...in fact, the philly press had the sabres "out-physicalling" the flyers...weber was a bad-ass...goose was too...

favorite play was myers decking pronger in game six

bang on, you bouncing apple, you...

i like them out to the blue line

- b0s0o1

they are better but they need more sand paper.. getting regher back and bringing in McNabb over Weber next season could really help that.. I have to say for a 7th Dman Sultzer makes a better option than Grags..

i think he could be almost as good as roy points-wise...i think he has more raw talent...

if i'm not mistaken, ennis, leino and staff were together for a period and they looked real solid...

therefore, i guess, i beg to differ

- b0s0o1

As much as we all would love to see Vanek - Roy - Pommer blown up and changed around I think Lindy wouldn't do it because of the success that lines 2 and 3 are having.

They seem to be high on the young Johannson kid I thought. He is their #1 right now instead of Laich.

could be.. i just think he is better suited on the wing in top 6 duty.. the biggest duty for this off season should be finding someone to play top line center, whether it be another cody hodgson type player or they get a real #1 center (doubtful). Roy needs off this team in a bad way

Being 100 % honest while watching that Caps/Flyers game last night.

I would never want a player like Ovechkin or Semin anywhere near our Buffalo Sabres roster.

The Caps will never win anything with those 2very selfish players.

They are team chemistry killers for sure.

I would pass on both of them thank you.

- TerryPegs

You would never want one of the most dynamic players in the world on your team...?...ok...

i figured that it would take this long, at least, as well...

the sabres still need a retool in the topsix...

i think you know where i'm heading with this

what a fall from grace for grags...he's got skills, but is affraid to get his...

weber was a beast vs. philly last year physicality wise...as a 6th d-man, i can live with that

Weber has been playing VERY good hockey lately. I think Regehr's teachings are rubbing off on him. I'm not ready to write him off yet.

I think Weber will replace Sekera in our d-corps if he continues like he is. With us losing Regehr and leopold after next year I think Sekera, Weber, and McNabb will have a big battle for pairings. Even Pysyk or Brennan could get involved.

We have plenty of depth on D.

Grags could be a stud but he needs some serious grooming.. i still always remember his first call up to buffalo, i think it was in EDM. he looked so scared out there i felt sorry for him. He was starting to go back to that.

Oh i didn't mean weber was off the team i just meant he was bumped down to the 5/6/7 dman scenario. He has been playing better lately..

I pulled a bunch of speculation out of my rear end. I wouldn't trade Backstrom if I were Washington, but I was wondering if Leonsis might "blow it up" after this season, especially if they don't make the playoffs. They need a lot of changes, but I doubt Ovechkin is going to be one of them due to his league status. I thought that perhaps (mostly wishful thinking) Backstrom would be a casualty of an impulsive house cleaning.

As of this moment and how Regehr is playing. If he continues down this path in this groove that he has FINALLY found I would not mind seeing the Sabres sign him to a 1 year extension.

He is by far hands down our most physical D-Man which is exactly what we brought him in for. He is only 31 right now. 32 at the end of his contract next year.

But at the same time it seems Lindy has a love affair with Leopold getting the most ice time.

I think Anaheim has some BIG questions ahead of them this off season on where their franchise is going. Selanne, Blake, and Koivu are all 37+ and all make over 4M per season I believe.

With Getzlaf and Perry both UFAs after next season, I think those guys need to be let go just to free up the money to resign Getzlaf and Perry. IF they let one walk or trade one at the deadline next year we will have to wait and see.

Parise a UFA after this year.. and Perry/Getzlaf UFAs after next year.
