Said it b4. Never even knew Hodgson was available. F*ck Brian Burke should have made an offer for Hidgson & Schinieder even if the Leafs had to include as trade James Reimer & or a 1st round pick in the package. That would have solved the Leafs weakness's in goal & at center in one shot. Van was looking for a winger to fit perfectly on the 3rd line & mabie the 2nd line when need be. Well Kulemin is alot better Kassan for the role. Leafs could have made a nice offer including Kulemin iin the deal. Burke mised the boat on this one, well so did Vancouver. Van could have gotten a sweet return.

That dont want a Kulemin, they want a guy that is tough and can patrol the ice, Kulimen is a way different player than Kassian.

Your GM was very smart getting rid of Kassan. The guy comes in with such a tough reputation. I remember the last time the Leafs played the Sabres. Phanuef just drilled Kassan face first into the boards, a border-line dirty hit. Kassan got up just glared at Phaneuf than he skated away. And as I thought I made it clear, OBVIOUSLY the Leafs would never get Coldy & Cory for just Reimer & a first, it would have to be ALOT more than that just saying again, I have NO problem including Reimer & a 1st as PART of a bigger package.
