To say this team is perplexing would be an understatement. Great to see a kid they brought up at the right time-Cizikas-do well. I still don't think this is a playoff team but to take all 4 points in regulation is an accomplishment. Now, when they play again in a couple days.....

This team can drive you up a wall. They can look so bad and then yesterday and today so good when it looks like they can play with anyone. Casey and the other young kids including Nino looked real good. Bailey looks good as well. Amazing what can happen when Jack acts like a coach and changes the lines. If it's not the players driving you crazy it's the Owner, GM, and Coach.

This team can drive you up a wall. They can look so bad and then yesterday and today so good when it looks like they can play with anyone. That's what young up and coming teams do. It's not as doom and gloom as many think. They are close. Need a couple of upgrades and some maturing of young players.

I think until recently they did not have enough of the young guys now they have a couple of good ones up from Bridge and the team looks better. Trading Rolston and Mottau was a big help. With more young players and the right vets with enough left in the tank this team is not far off. Getting more size especially on d will be critical. This offseason is critical for Snow. He does not have to bring in a star player but he better do much better than last year. He has got to be active. Isles want to put more pressure on Nassau County then have a strong offseason before the game in Brooklyn.

Agree. With all the things that have gone wrong this year, they win 4 more in a row ( yes longshot) they will be right in it.

Speaking of guys we Know.. You guys remember the kid Joey Diamond from Long Beach who got an invite to Isles rookie camp. He scored 2 goals in the rookie orange vs. white game (almost had 3). He also is the guy who's body check hurt Petrov. He is small but can really play. Well I just looked at NCAA stats and he is like 12th in points. He has more than Brock, Lee and kreider (He plays for Maine). I would love for him to get another shot by Isles. He is overlooked b/c of size but he is one tough S.O.B and can flat out play. (I bartended with his Dad at the Saloon back in the day).

The frustrating part is this is the team we all hoped for last year. This is the team we wanted on the ice. Why they signed and then kept the Rolston, Wallace and Pandolfo nonsense all this time is beyond upsetting.

I am not getting my hopes up we are 5 points behind and that is the closest we have been for a while but this team always breaks my heart. So here we go. This team sucks and will unless Snow does somethign or fires the Captain Jack.

Oh and I have been reasing the comments and once again DP has no business being with this team no longer. I hope he does come back in way so the fans can boo the hell out of him and then see that priceless look on his face like why are they booing. That was classic this year.

I read the story on NHL.com and the kid said he hasn't played goalie since he was 5 and the skates he borrowed were way to small for him. He fell down a few times and said he couldn't skate. But he did get the first star of the game.

Yeah it was the highlight of the season. He was like what the hell? Umm hmm if he dont understand why then there is more issues with him then we thought. Again his name should not come up with any discussion when it comes to the Islanders. If I see that clown on this team and Nabby walks then there is going to be an uprise in Islander Nation, and DP must go down
