Nilsson was not tested at all. My 7 year old brother could've recorded that shutout too.
- _Zippy_

He wasn't tested much but its good he got the shut out, he has what it takes. Could be our future starter? Will only help his confidence.

Anbody get to the game early? I heard Dora and Diego were signing autographs for everybody. We Isles fans get the best celeb and guest appearances in sports.

Kids loved it... Spongebob, Patrick and some Nik jr. super hero guy too. I like when they Isles have stuff for the kids. The last time was the Super heros before the game. They had Spiderman, Capt. Americs, Ironman and Hulk. SMG makes it torture but the kids still love it.

How's the official tattoo parlor going?
- _Zippy_

They do paint on Tatoos for the kids so it is going very well. I will just go out on a limb and say we will not be the only ones to have this at an Arena by next year. You see that is usually how it happens. We do something.. everyone laughs at it.. then shortly after everyone copies the Isles.

Soild game by Isles it's now or never!

Strome had a 10 point weekend in the OHL had 5 goals an a assist today plus 4 assist sat night. Kids gonna be one hell of a player in 40 games hes 28-36-64 +33.

I saw that... good to see him playing well again. I was not happy with the shot that broke his nose. I really did not look like much. Never like to see a guy get hurt that easily. Can't remember does he have a HUGE nose?? here is the play..

I think Ullstrom is going to be what we all hoped Nino to be...can't wait to see him progress the next few seasons.
- Nolanders

A. I agree..

B. It sounds like everyone is now starting to get concerned with Nino's lack of production. Can you take me off the cross now... been up there for a few months.

(PS I never said I did not like the kid.. just was concerned with the lack of pucks getting to the back of the net from a 5th over all pick).

That would be awesome, but I still think Nino will also be what we all hope he will be.

Casey brings skill and passion. Hope to see DeHaan and Donovan next year. The future looks very bright especially if the Isles can add some solid vets.
- ses111

Amen.. the disgusting part is he should have been here over a month ago. Why this team held onto to Rolston and Wallace for that long is beyond my comprehension. Why they are still hanging on to Reasoner at this point is also beyond belief. Get that guy off this team. We have other options... lots of them that bring more to the team than Him.

When Grabner gets over his Yeast infection.... Please sit Reasoner or Pando... Please.

Nilson looked awesome... he is friggin huge by the way.

They were crashing into the kid after every whistle. I am not disagreeing that he did not have to make any sick saves, but they constantly crashed the net. This team is still really lacking toughness... desperately needs a Haley on the ice.

That's a bit aggressive. Tell your 7 year old brother to call Philly. They are always looking for a goalie.

Snow always makes changes to late. He wakes up from his nap when the season is almost over. Reasoner needs to go now. Nino looked good today. Guys like Nino, Casey and Ullstrom gave the team good jump. Throwing hits and skating well. Nilsson looks like he has a lot of promise. Takes up a lot of net. If Nabby stays will it be Nilsson or Poulin? Ask long as it's not DP.

I don't doubt that your brother would have recorded the shutout too but unfortunately other goalies for the islanders wouldn't be able to do that as your brother would do beause they don't know how to handle it if they weren't tested at all.

Next season if Nabby stays it will be Nabby-DP- Poulin. Nilsson will get the starting job in Bridgeport with most likely Koskinen his back up.

To say this team is perplexing would be an understatement. Great to see a kid they brought up at the right time-Cizikas-do well. I still don't think this is a playoff team but to take all 4 points in regulation is an accomplishment. Now, when they play again in a couple days.....

SHOW US SOMETHING. BUILD ON IT.

Its the reality of the situation.. even if there is a buyout grace period.. DP will NOT be bought out. He will be back & the only thing at this point we can hope for is retirement.

Well this is going to be a blood bath.

For those of you willing to stick around to 7 or want to stop by, for $15 you can see the Catholic League State Championship game at NVMC. My school, St. Anthony's will play St. Francis. Should be a really intense game.

Saint Anthony's Varsity Hockey wins State Championship!!! Nicely done... didnt realize i knew one of the guys on St.Anthony's!!
