Agreed,Cali has looked pretty good in the reg season .A strong playoff will help his case into becoming one of the leagues better captains, but to say he is the best is a reach right now for sure

How can he be considered the BEST when there is Lidstrom just to start with as a captain?

He might be a good young captain but I would definitely put Lidstrom, Toews, Chara and Iginla and healthy Crsoby and Pronger before Callahan.

Crosby, Chara, Lidstrom, Toews, Doan, Iginla, Pronger, Morrow, Weber, Nash (he is a great captain, his team is terrible but he is always out there night in night out busting his balls for pretty much nothing)

What were you thinking Ek??? Your credibility is falling even futher!!!

Why do you Islander fans try and talk poop about the Rangers when you know your team is still a bottom feeder.
- GOODPLAYA20

We beat you last week.....and you needed OT to beat the Sabres next day. SO what does that say? YOu guys barely made playoffs last two years....only by the luck of other teams losing on the last day of the season. short memory pal. You talk like rangers have been dominant for a while now.(with MAX payroll last 5 yrs) Quit yappin till you get to 2nd round, which you won't!

Next question Ek,.....surely you can top this one.

As long as Lidstrom and Chara are still playing, one of them is the best. Cally is a good young captain. But let's not get carried away here.

http://torontohockey.net/...ps/neutral-zone-trap.html

The New Jersey Devils are probably the most famous example of the neutral zone trap. The Devils mastered the trap and brought it to prominence with their 1995 Stanley Cup. The Devils ran the trap so effectively they once held the Toronto Maple Leafs to only 6 shots on net for an entire game. Still the trap has been around hockey long before the New Jersey Devils even came into existence. The high flying Montreal Canadiens, with the legendary Scotty Bowman at the helm, used the neutral zone trap very successfully during the 1970's. Its origins traces all the way back to the 1960s when Swedish teams used it to defend the mighty Soviets in international play.
