The moment I realized Cally was a great captain was during 24/7. After the whole Anisimov sniper incident vs Tampa, Gaborik and Avery walked in to the locker room and started laughing at Artie as if it was a funny joke. Callahan comes into the room with a straight face on and asks flat out if Artie was intentionally shooting at the goalie. Keeping your boys in check is a big part about being a Captain and Cally showed he doesn't put up with much B.S. |

If you can even marginally relate the Devils trapping play to the Rangers defensive system, than your way, way, way off base. Two completely different systems.

No need to break it down, I understood your stupidity from the get-go.
So both defensive systems end with the same result. News flash, all defensive schemes end with the same result if your successful at it. After the game this afternoon, how could the word boring even come into play when talking about the Rangers? Open your eyes there chief.
I'm not gonna argue on what you perceive as boring. If you don't like the "oh-so boring defensive game" the Rangers play, then simply don't watch. Cheers |

Is the comment premature? Yes. But is it that off base? No way. You need above average leadership to be first in the conference for much of the year. He's close to netting 30 and plays in ever situation. In a few years when it comes to leader ship in the league, the names Crosby, Toews, Weber, Callahan, Parise, and Stamkos will be the ones that are talked about most. |
