Thanks . Seems like a 7 or 8 fill in if needed for injury purposes. Not sue why he was called up since we have Mcnabb . Could be just cause he will be facing his former team.
Doesnt have too bad of stats for the 12 or so games played. 1 assist and a +3
And at least 1 shot per game .

I find it interesting that they called up Foligno and didn't bring McNabb with him...

They must think Sulzer is ok and there is no need to drag McNabb cross country.

He said if you're ok with it, not that you'd stop watching the team. BTW, i've been to your thread to know that most of you aren't OK with it.

If you go based of of Chicago as a model of tanking then Edm. should be in the playoff contention this year... You guys are arguing without any facts.

I knew that Grapes would bring up the American issue with Burke!

Nice that Cherry is pissing on the American born players!

- Irish 14

I think he's pissing on Burke for not having any local kids when so much talent is from around there. Grapes likes american players, just the frenchies and europeans he usually has it out for.

some more than others..I avoid Clouts threads a lot these days...the idiocy is hard to take at times, and our own blogger is the source of much of it.

Chicago also had a lot of pieces that edmonton doesn't. ie: key veterans and a bonafide 1-2 pairing.

I realize you're young, but I can recall a lot of dark days for Buffalo fans as well. No fan enjoys losing as you seem to think, but smart ones realize that losing will happen when your team has been gutted and rebuilt with a core 22 years old and under.

Chicago won the cup when kane and toews were under 22... And if im right they got into the playoffs kane's rookie year...

So again how does a team with that much talent finish 2nd last!? makes me sick

- Smittyx36

The same reasons... Chicago had Hossa, Keith, Seabrook,Campbell, Sharp,Byfuglien... and other good players. They've already admitted that their defense is bad, and don't have consistent goalie play.

I'm simply saying that you calling them a joke and acting like those young players are all terrible and will be terrible is stupid.

Yes because they didn't depend on just doing bad for years... That's the organizations fault for not getting vets and D! I don't get why your arguing? Your just adding to the idea that your teams been the biggest joke in the nhl for 3 years straight!

I have no idea. I think he's a through and through fan, which is fine, but he let's his vision of the team he would like cloud his perceptions of the team that actually is.

Foligno and Kass played together so this being the matchup i kinda see foligno called. He moved up on the callup pole according to lindy the other day . someone on GR asked him that regarding losing kass and who was the next in line.

I would agree with this if the bills were good by now... They have been awful for the past 10 years and rebuilt with and gutted and they still stink.

In 20 years the sabres have had ONE top 5 pick. Vanek. Thats it

So what should we expect too see from Sulzer? never seen nor heard of him before the trade .
- cabin

A whole lot of nothing. He's a fine 8th Dman. With any luck, you won't notice him at all. He's a so-so player who doesn't excel at anything. Whether more can be gleaned from him, your coaching staff will have to see.

NFL re-builds and NHL re-builds are completely different.... Remember when you draft a player in the NHL that player isn't really ready for 3 years or so. Plus in the NFL it's really rare to see a player for player trade, or any trades in general.

Don't forget all the first round players that were drafted that never get any farther than the AHL. We have a few of them too
