A very good winger, a potentially very good winger for a very good possible Norris dman... Yeah, think so. I know there's a ton of value in those two, but giving up Myers for wingers doesn't make sense to me.

So far off... The rebuild started with Taylor Hall. We were a bubble team before that. Also, I think you should do a little research and see just how long both the Pens and Hawks sucked before they became good teams.

If you say so. Defensemen are more valuable than wingers in my opinion. If Eberle and Yakupov become elite, and Myers also becomes elite, then thats a decent move I guess, especially if you have balance down the middle going forward.

If just one becomes elite, and Myers becomes elite, terrible trade.

I think Eberle could become an elite winger sure, I think Myers could equally become an elite dman, Yakupov is a crapshoot who is undersized for the game he plays.

So call it what you want, I have actual, non-OMGMYERZISDABEST reasons for my opinion.

Go take a look at the Pens/Hawks history and get back to me. Saying that Edmonton can't be the next Chicago/Pittsburgh makes zero sense... They're on a VERY similar path... VERY!

Oh, and with 25% of the season left this year, the Oilers tied the amount of wins they had last season... Progress. It takes time, and as much as you want to think so, guys like Gagner will not make a change to a team... Guys like Toews, Kane, Crosby, Malkin, Fleury, Stall, Hall, Eberle, Nuge will... Give the kids some time for Gods sake... Oh, and just so you know, the Hawks and Pens didn't dominate right after drafting their studs either... Takes time.
