Hopefully he plays better than last time. The last game he played for the Sabres he looked really lost and out of position |

I still hope they finish low enough to draft Galchenyuk.

I would rather have a 57 year old Danny Gare play then Ellis... Hell you could find a bum off the street that would play better. The guy is a joke and makes me wanna throw up every time i see him on the ice! He kills it for Tropp and Boyes |

Problem with starting Enroth is if he gets lit up early Ruff switches goalies and there goes Millers night off anyways. |

FINISHING STRONG AFTER THE BREAK
Buffalo is 534-398-183 (.561) all-time in games after the All-Star break. This includes a record of 83-45-21 (.628) in those games since the lockout. The Sabres are 8-3-3 (.679) since the 2012 NHL All-Star Game. These totals do not include games after breaks for the
Olympic Games. - garth
This is both interesting and troubling because there's been some bad seasons since the lockout, which means that this team tends to waste half the season.
If anybody has the record pre- All Star game, please post.

What do you guys think about Hodgson. Seems like the nucks writers had a minor love affair with the kid. |

Edm. is a great example of a team that has tanked the past 4-5 years and yet they still suck! Not every team will end up like Chicago or Pits...
I will take my chances and be all for the sabres making a run at the playoffs. Why give up on a year for the CHANCE at a future elite player? Doesn't add it for me. |

The Sabres blogger has a passionately dirty love affair with him. |

Because if we make it in we would be an 8 seed. Giving us almost no chance at winning the cup. If we tank and draft in the top 10 then that gives us a better chance at hitting on an elite player that could help us for many years in the future. |

A very good winger, a potentially very good winger for a very good possible Norris dman... Yeah, think so. I know there's a ton of value in those two, but giving up Myers for wingers doesn't make sense to me. |

He looks like a kid who can play. Only two games, but I like what I see so far. Players who can really play the position dont grow on trees. He could be a good one. |

So far off... The rebuild started with Taylor Hall. We were a bubble team before that. Also, I think you should do a little research and see just how long both the Pens and Hawks sucked before they became good teams. |

Not worth it to me... Look back at the last 5-6 drafts and see how many picks 4-8 turned out. Plus we will find some way to screw it up anyways. I would much rather make a run at the playoffs and then if we make it maybe trade away are two number ones or twos for that "elite" player... We have a pretty solid team when healthy. Tanking to me just doesn't go over well. |
