It's just punishment to do that. It would likely be a different story if guys were drafted at 22, but for the most part they are still kids that have plenty of growing to do physically, mentally, and emotionally.

One of the bloggers wrote a pc on that just recently . was regarding the 18-20yr olds making it . Not all of them have the drive to keep getting better . some are good but never really commit to being a nhl hockey player. Was a good read
