Ture. Previously, he just looked out of place in a 4th line role w/ guys like Adams & Park. The cycle would more or less fall apart and he'd be slow getting back on D. Tandradi just looked lost as a 4th-line guy.

This time around, he's been better on the cycle, gotten to the front of the net and battled a few times, and at appeared (at least to me) to be making a solid effort to get back on D rather quickly (ie, he looked faster getting back and more responsible when he got there). To be fair, he hasn't scored a G or gotten many points, but I can't say that playing with Adams or Park on the 4th line really lends itself to that very often.

I guess I just saw some solid improvment in playing Bylsma's system and knowing his role. Wondered if anyone else saw the same thing?

He has certainly improved in that particular role and I don't look at him for offensive stats given that role is not conducive for it. But I would never bump Kennedy off of the PP to make room for him either. Kennedy gets his share of criticism and there is merit to it, but he is still the better option.

Edit: Looking like Kennedy is literally going to take Tangradi's roster spot.

Oh, absolutely. If you are looking for a PP option, Kennedy is a better one than Tangradi at this point.

But to be honest, as of right now I think i'd take Tangradi over Jeffrey for a 4th line role. Jeffrey hasn't been consistent and just hasn't lived up to what I thought he'd do this year.

Caps need a center. Not sure why they din't get one at the deadline.

Looks like I'm going to have more free time this April than usual (i.e. no playoffs vs the usual 1st/2nd round exit). This team is a complete mess. I'm actually kind of glad that they didn't overpay for anyone at the deadline, not sure that anyone available could have turned this season around for the Caps.

Really bad weekend for the Caps 5-0 & 1-0 losses and "Great 8" riding the bench for the better part of the 2nd last night. I love how Hunter said that he wasn't getting the match up he wanted......
