Future Bertuzzi

Which Bertuzzi? The lazy uninspired one that did nothing most games, the one who took dumb penalties, or the one who made enough room for Naslund that they both became stars?

I really hope you're referring to the last one and it comes true, but I'd slow down with the super excellent comparisons for now. It was Kassian's mistake in the first 50 seconds that got Buffalo all hyped up right out of the gate. He's very young and has a long way to go yet.

He was also extremely impressive for us in his first 7 games. He has more talent around him now which should help, but he will have bouts of inconsistency, as he's still extremely young and raw.

Good luck the rest of the way, Nucks fans.

I might even compare him to Kesler a few years back. Kesler has Demitra and Sundin back a few years. Some elite level skilled veterans who can show him the ropes. Hopefully if Kassian gets some consistent line mates, we can tap at his potential.

He's Bertuzzi 2.0 and will be on the first line mid next season. No matter how it's put, Bertuzzi was a great player for the Canucks, the team and fans gave up on him at a bad moment

Lapierre seemed more effective last game when he had a partner in crime. I'd like to see the dynamic of another banger on the 4th with Malhotra and Lapierre. I'm assuming Duco is the faster skater although Bitz is the bigger body. Kassian to stay on the second and hopefully get Kesler more engaged physically.

Do they have to send someone down in order to bring one of these guys up? If not, it's time to try that experiment.

Not sure .They do have the cap space .I am not sure if there is a roster limit.

They had 4.5 at TDL and in the end and didnt spend up to it. They do have to keep Ballard's return in mind which is why they have so much relief right now. I havent heard anything about his injury or recovery lately....is anything even wrong?

I hope he didnt discuss his minutes with AV.
