At 6'4" 202LBS at the age of 17 then I would say in my humble opinion they might be right.
He skates very well and if you listen to his Coach Deryk Laxdall who raves about Rhienhart on the #1 defensive unit in the WHL. On a team that is +101 on the year for GF and GA. If the Oil Kings go on an extended Play-off run Rhienharts stock will be rising even more.

The point is I think you guys are overestimating Myers based on the Oilers needs! Yes the Oilers NEED D but there is NO WAY Myers is a better choice than an Ovechkin, Crosby or Yakupov!

Top 2 type d-men...the timelines is getting compressed for the rebuild. Giving up the 1st round pick this year to get Myers, a guy that fills the teams needs in everyway ( top 2 dman that is nhl level), is completely acceptable.

Keep in mind that Reinhart is playing on one of the best teams in the league and Murray is playing on one of the worst teams in the league. I bet if they switched teams Murray would have twice as many points as Reinhart.
