You're misunderstanding me. I like what Zidlicky's doing, but he's giving the haters too much fodder. More than anything else, Sykora's skating ability didn't make him the ideal candidate to backcheck on Zidlicky's behalf. The mistake is more in the defensive switch and pick-up than the pinch.

The rest of this period should be about establishing ourselves defensively. Then next period we can try to make something happen.

It seems like the devil have done this all year, and last 3 games against Boston, we hit posts, and miss our chances to score, and Boston comes back down the ice gets a goal.
