27 goals is pretty much near 28, if you ask me.
- _nay_

its 26 and that was in 07 the team led the league in PP amongst other things, you think The Blues would have ever made that deal if you switch Andrei Kostitsyn for Chris Stewart? lets be real here lol

which is why saying he's lazy cuz he has 14 goals means nothing on a team like this like i was trying to tell the other guy

my point is Stewart has shown he can put up the numbers when given PP time and with a faster team, he was traded not cuz Colorado didnt trust him but more cuz Colorado's D was atrocious and Johnson has been exactly what they needed

- Habitants98

1) I'm saying he's lazy because he is being lazy by WATCHING him.
2) Who would you trade for Stewart that the Blues really need?

How much do you miss Ryder right now?
- Oilhab

A lot. And Recchi. Management didn't reup Ryder because the idea was Seguin, Marchand and Caron could replace the offense lost. It was a successful decision until a couple of injuries and the lack of Caron taking the next step. The lack of depth compared to last years team is blatantly obvious.

Stewart ++ for Plekanec. He's a Hitchcock-type or player. Berglund's in his doghouse too.

Oh, and bring Shane Doan so he can centers him, the same way Nash will be Toronto's 1st center for years to come

I don't know if they are benched because they suck or the inverse, but damn they really suck lately.

exactly which is why this offseason would be perfect to snatch him up at a low cost, i doubt they'd lose Berglund tho

plus im sure they owe us a lil, after receiving a starting goalie for almost nothing

Eric Engels: Who Should the Canadiens add Through Free Agency?
- EricEngels

doan will not sign here and any of the rest of that group is not going to change much for this team. i'm sick of free agency and overspending to sign players who can't perform in this market. i'd rather the canadiens build through the draft and good trades.
