We definitely should. I'd even add our first pick next year to the deal if I had to.
Also, I think it's time we get rid of all the dead weight.
Subban? Trade him for a bag of pucks. I always knew that he was a horrible pick. We had the chance to draft Keven Veilleux. The guy is a big center: 6'5, 220. What more do you want? Why do we keep missing out on theses guys? He played for the Oceanic the Rimouski, right in our backyard.
Pacioretty? Maybe we could convince NJ to give us Steve Bernier, a solid, home-grown winger. Or maybe we could add one or two second round picks to the deal and beg Minnesota to trade Latendresse back to us.
Gorges? To be honest I never understood the reason why we traded Craig Rivet, a tough stay at home defenseman (homegrown, also!) for Pacioretty and this Gorges guy.
Why do we keep trading away or drafting non french-canadian people? Trevor Timmins, Bob Gainey, Pierre Gauthier all have one thing in common: they're racist. - Kotu

so yesterday as I was saying, Mitch asks Friedman who he thinks replaces gauthier.
Friedman says the word around the league is Julien Brisebois.
after an uncomfortable silence, Mitch starts discrediting Brisebois. |

He plays center as well as left wing and is a great ball hockey goalie. |

I'm not surprised by this. Mitch thinks his 'word' means something in sports circles. But this is just more proof that he has no idea what he is talking about. A credible insider tells him who the front-runner is, someone who is still inside a hockey organization and knows what is relavant for a hockey team in 2012. But since it goes against Mitch's obvious agenda, who ever the real candidtates are, are not good enough for him, because it is Pierre or nothing. |
