Nice story on tsn.ca about the Jays prospects - pete26
Pure hype. Everything in this article is the exact same as a year ago. Over-hyping things and not tempering the pros with any cons resulting in a support base that has unreal expectations. Last year an article here 'Drabek our Saviour'. Or all the 'Heart Hustle etc' posting up Snider as the young stud. JPA hit 23 HR's but they did not mention his miserable BA to go along with things. Rogers can take their 23 HR's and give me a catcher that can at least hit 250 and catch a baseball. Same old song and dance. Lets wait until Lawrie completes an entire season before we proclaim him as the greatest ever. |

Go Jays - habs12
" I'm really hungry for the spot and I want to be out there," said Gose, "but I know I still have some developing to do in the minor leagues. Until I'm ready and the organization feels I'm ready I can just go down to the minor leagues and play hard."
The former Phillies prospect added power to his game in 2011. In addition to swiping 70 bags in 137 games with New Hampshire (AA), Gose also hit 16 home runs and drove in 59 runs despite spending much of his time in the lead-off spot.
Gonna be a good one. |

Wouldn't make any difference to me. I had season tickets for the Oilers for 7 years, and gave them up a few years ago. I couldn't give the (frank)ers away. - pete26

If nothing else, every word in weirdoh's post is correctly spelled. Clearly, someone has hacked his account. Howard should ban him just for safety purposes. |

I watch the Jays. I consider myself a fan.
But they do not have the goods to win more than 90 games. And when the bats go cold, they do not have the pitching to make up for it. |
