I dunno, the people have been very supportive of the Blades and these crazy bastards drive all over hell's half acre to watch the Roughriders. The city is approaching 250K, mostly retired farmers. Not sure the corporate support would be there, but I'm sure the fans would be. |

I dunno, the people have been very supportive of the Blades and these crazy bastards drive all over hell's half acre to watch the Roughriders. The city is approaching 250K, mostly retired farmers. Not sure the corporate support would be there, but I'm sure the fans would be.

Halifax is now over 400,000K and has Moncton within somewhat of a reasonable driving distance. But an NHL team will never be here because the annual household income is much lower then the Oil rich prairies. Even with that huge shipbuilding contract it won't happen. A CFL team, maybe although or council is chalkfull of full blown retards that can't get their thumbs out of their asses long enough to find an appropraite location for a new stadium. |
