Shane Doan ?
If the yotes stay in the desert, he stays there also, if they move, he's gone, likely Detroit. He would not come to MTL EE, never.
We will be lucky if he doesn't convince Maloney to give his cousin an offer sheet. - pete26
naw, only other place Doan will go is Winnipeg |

Why would the habs battle to the 2nd overall pick and then pick the American Markov? - Oilhab
They aren't high on Grigs.
Galchenyuk is a big center, 2nd best talent of this crop after Yakupov.
Comes from the US development team, so that automatically puts a boner in Timmins pants. He has good mobility too, so make that a raging boner. |

Not all RFA's are avi for offersheets...
I don't know the exact terms to be available but I doubt Price is at this age.
For example Weber(the good one) could have gotten offer sheeted last year. He was 25.
Or no wait, that would be arbritation, my excuse. |

If they are dead set on drafting a damaged draft pick, then trade down for him, he was the 2nd best talent, last year. |

I wouldn't care if they went for Galchenyuk, as long as they don't do it with the 2nd overall... trade down |

Much of my assumption is based on him coming back to his old form though, and him having great playoffs. |

Habs should just make an offer sheet to Chris Stewart who's scoring talent is buried on the 4th line in ST-Louis cuz of the poopty (but effective) Hitchcock system
there's alot more available on the RFA list, i'd say make an offer sheet for Evander Kane but the Jets would never allow this lol...nvm Duchene
Chris stewart might be the best option at right wing and he fits exactly what the Habs need plus the Blues have to resign Oshie and Perron too so they may not get to Stewart.....they might also lose Langenbrunner |

Grant McCagg, an ex scout for the habs.
That was three weeks ago. And Timmins was seen a week later at the QC/SJ game where Grigo didn't do much.
McCagg was the same who told me that the habs wouldn't draft McNeill. |
