Agreed. I think it's a team culture thing. Claude Julien's Bruins for instance. He knows he has the players to play that game and thinks sending a message in a losing cause will set the tone for the next game. That's beer league.
Refs should be allowed to call bench unsportsman like misconduct penalties.
I hate to see apes like Lucic go after Subban or Emelin after a clean hit.
