This is the worst thing that could happen...The Leafs getting a competent coach. I actually wanted Carlyle in Montreal.

Very true...

But I thin he will help their D play much better...and they will be a much more physical team. They will however have to get rid of some "softer players"...players that will very shortly be in Carlyle's doghouse because of their lack of physical play...

seriously if they don't clean house at the end of the season (if Gainey, Gauthier are still there) I might apply to be fan of another team.

As for Cunneyworth, they have put him in a difficult situation...first job in the NHL and that may be his first and only shot...pretty unfair.
