Suprised Eklund picked Ottawa to finish ahead of NJ we have been ahead of them all season had it not been for this fluke 3 game skid , and even with that we are only 1 point behind them with 3 games in hand ..

As soon as someone lets the Leaf players know the trade deadline has passed, and that they can concentrate on actually playing hockey again rather than worried about being traded, I am sure they will make it in the top 8.

I'm interested to see what the Vancouver additions do to their line-up. I think it will be positive.....and if Schneider takes over in net when it's gut check time, I think those diving frauds have a legit shot at the cup

Is there anything better than Montreal fans having such a crappy team that they have nothing to root for other than the Oilers making a dumb decision and passing on the 2nd best player in the draft? I am usually not one to revel in the misery of others, but I must make an exception for an entire fan base that truly, but incorrectly, believes the hockey world starts and stops with them.

Not they wont! The leafs suck.. They do not have the goalie to make that kind of push or even the scoring firepower either.

I hate that is so tough to get out of the west. Van was a mess in the end last year. The teams in the west just beat the living sh!t out of each other. So who knows what will happen.
