A couple of things I disagree with here. The Nucks swept the blues a few years back in the opening round, therefore the always struggle goes out the window. Speaking of struggles, let's revisit the Avs recent history vs the Nucks.

I think the leafs are worse this year on the pk then last year
too much blame is given on their goalies, not enough on the forwards lack of coming back to play D IMO

So if Burke traded MacArthur, Kulemin and Schenn for 1st round picks as reportedly offered and add in the Leafs 1st round pick that would have been 4 first rounders. I'm not including the Grabo for a 1st because I think we should keep him.
Anyways, with 4 first round picks to play with I would think we could have dealt 3 of them to a team to get a pure #1 goalie or a pure #1 center in return at least.
