I was the same way when i first started playing. - bonzo11
I went to a driving range that a buddy of mine owned once. And a 12 pk of beer and a few smokes, and a lot of balls going nowhere near what would be considered a fairway. I pretty much realized i was enjoying the beer far too much to bother with the driving any longer, and thats the easiest part about golf. I decided it wasnt for me, and neither was country clubs with snooty old white people with far too much money wearing really bad attire.

Seems you either love it or hate it. It is a (frank)ing expensive sport though
I golf almost every day during the nice months I don't bother trying to play in the rain anymore, just not worth it. Nice weather and a few beers - bonzo11
I don't knock people for playing, just not for me or my lifestyle.
I have too much of a temper to golf, by about the 4th hole id be driving some old rich man's false teeth instead of the ball. - shinebox
Are we related? Same with me on the temper thing, I go from frustrated to irate by the 3rd hole playing best ball. You gotta love the the Richards that try to coach you on hitting, They have no franking clue that you're ready to snap.

West
1. Canucks
2. Red Wings
3. Sharks
4. completely healthy Blues
5. Predators
6. Coyotes
7. Kings
8. Avs
Then:
Rangers def Capitals in six
Bruins def Devils in five
Flyers def Panthers in seven
Penguins def Senators in six
Canucks def Avs in seven (always struggle in first round)
Red Wings def Kings in six
Sharks def Coyotes in four
Blues def Predators in seven
Rangers def Flyers in seven
(If healthy Crosby) Penguins def. Bruins in six, other way around if not.
Blues def Canucks in six
Sharks def Red Wings in seven
Rangers def Pens/Bruins in six
Blues def Sharks in six
Rangers def Blues in five to win the cup. - martok2309
A couple of things I disagree with here. The Nucks swept the blues a few years back in the opening round, therefore the always struggle goes out the window. Speaking of struggles, let's revisit the Avs recent history vs the Nucks.
