I just walked in on the game....but what was Couturier doing on that last shift there? He just looks so lazy and lost in his own zone, he coughs it up in front of the net. He's has to be much better than it's inexcusable and shifts like that have nothing to do with him hitting the rookie wall, he's got to get his head in the freaking game

he had a tough first period.

schenn started out bad too, 2 or 3 giveaways, but picked it up in the last part

So was that Talbots guy on the goal or did Mezz make the mistake leaving the front of the net?

Holy poop and Couturier was very culpable for the first goal, god he was fixing his helmet as his man was skating free to the slot. Just terrible he needs to wake up

It was Talbot at the front of the net and yes, it did look like he may have kicked it in himself.

couts goes for the double team and misses
talbot and rinaldo were kind of in between players in no man land

Ahhh, Bryz looks strong though. If he keeps up this play, we will be scary. He looks really confident. Coming out challenging. Staying with the shooter and staying square. Eating rebounds. Looks very good.

i always liked when they put him on the PP cuz he actually shoots. Kimmo has been shooting a little bit more of late, but I get tired of his drop passes in center ice and not shooting from the point. i would rather rest him during the PP, and put a D willing to shoot. I'd go with kubina and mez up top.

I hate our Power Play. It doesn't even matter that Voracek is out there on the first unit on the far right side. He's not dangerous. Giroux and Timonen play catch until one of them decides to shoot it. In many cases lately, one of them will cough up the puck and it leads to a shorty. If any team does a video practice on our team, they'll know we're predictable and eat us alive.

When you're all done dissecting the goal against, please point fingers at the Islanders responsible for the Flyers' goals. Thanks.
