Unfortunately we haven't heard the last of it.

The Jeff Carter trade did not work out but at least the Blue Jackets tried to improve. Snow and Wang's idea of improving is getting rid of Rolston and Mottau. Looks like Nabby has given up some softies. Figures he would go in the tank after the Isles kept him.

This is true as well. This team blows. I'd actually feel better if they(management)at least tried to create a competitive team. I knew, I'm sure u knew, most fans, and everyone in hockey knew this was a dud of a team built to lose. Give us a God damn break already.

And the beat goes on.......unless we get some serious development from our kids or a miracle about a new building, we can expect this until 2015.

as long as Wang owns this team and Snow is our GM they will be here and never be competitive. I've accepted that

So do we expect Capuano back next year or do the Islanders FINALLY hire their first real NHL coach since Teddy Nolan?

I can accept if trades or FA signing do not work. That will happen to the best of them. I cannot accept no action at all or the bare minimum action. That is much worse.

Nope, expect the same team with minor additions or subtractions, with Weight as the new coach.......

Funny you say that, if you ask half the people on here they'll tell you Snow is doing a great job. You just wait and see

Watching Capuano's post game interviews has become my favorite part of games now. How many times is he going to say the same shat? Outmuscled, outworked, outsized... He should just hit play, stop, and then rewind for the next game. It's sad, funny, and disgraceful all rolled into one fat man with a terrible hair cut.

It's amazing the support Wang and Snow still get. I rather have a GM that has the stones to make trades and actually tries to be a GM instead of being afraid to make any moves and waits for the draft every year.

Let's not go that far. Plenty of happy medium's instead. I'm looking for a GM who knows when to keep a player and when to move a player and who will not wait until the wheels fall off before making moves and a GM who hires a real coach.

I give him this offseason to hire Carlyle or therrian and majorly upgrade the defense and if not, I'll be done with him as well.

That's fair. I hope hope any supporters will give up on Snow if he has another lousy offseason. It will be interesting to hear what Snow says after this season. I hope to hear him say he will be active but I doubt he will say it.

the Donger's silence these past few weeks/months is deafening. Am starting to believe that no one, outside of our little group here, gives a flying fack anymore. Yes, dumping Rolston and Motts was addition by subtraction, IMHO, but too little too late. How Crappy can toe the company line, "I liked the way we played tonight....yada, yada, yada" with a straight face is beyond me. Had a good laugh during the broadcast tonight when they advertised a "final stretch" pacakage...."the moment you've been waiting for"?!?!?!? Really?

With all this it's beyond me how we have not seen record low attendance at the games. Have Wang and Snow showed any interested in putting a real team on the ice? There should be a 1000 people tops at the games.

I made a rant of a post the other night about this. I think he doesn't get enough credit for the good things he HAS done. At the same time, he has to upgrade this team via free agency and if he can't, make trades. There is enough talent here now where two moves and a good coach could turn this around immediately. But he needs to do that and Wang needs to let him. Big ifs.

John Tavares and people still care. There were 50 isles fans at this viewing party tonight. Couldn't believe it.

as long as they keep having "super heroes" and "spongebob" nights families will go, at a discount. Only attended 1 game this season, free tickets, AND I left early, naturally. So sad that they have to have these types of promos to get people to show up when icing a btter product would negate that theory

Many of us are not expecting Superstar players being aquired. I'm not looking for the Islanders to lead in playroll or even close. The Isles hire a real coach and Snow trades some of the picks and prospects for real talent and brings in some size and toughness and Snow and Wang will have plenty of support. Right now they are making Kate Murray look good by having a lousy team. Wang can not expect a lot of support when he has a lousy product.
