Letang put himself in a bad spot, and it was a dirty hit just because of the fact that Nystrom knew he was in a bad way and ignored the puck and took a run. But I don't think it was an illegal hit.

10 years ago, players took care of that... now everyone expects the league to handle it.

Engo laid him out, and Asham asked Nystrom to go a couple shifts later, but he's pretty much got away with it.

Yeah, and since they only play the Stars once, he can @ussy out and get away with it. Ott's just as bad....This is a situation where I'd like to see Asham or evenTangradi come out and take care of business...whether he Ott or Nystrom want to drop the gloves or not.

There's not a single comment on Meltzer's Stars blog....a shame. Are there even any Stars fans on HB? I think half of the fans there tonight are Pens fans....

Its weird, not much of a red wings presence on this site but you know they have a solid fan base. Not comparing the two but I know there are duck posters but they haven't really been out and about u til the new ducks guy started. Although bill has been doing Stars stuff for a while now.
