You missed where I said "If Letang stays upright". With Letang lowering himself he makes his head the principle point. If he stays upright Nystrom catches shoulder or chest much like Engo.

I usually am on the side of the new NHL but even I didn't see any way to avoid that hit. Similar to Doug Weights hit on Brandon Sutter years ago. Just not as violent. Unfortunate.

When I say engo or asham need to deal with it...im not sure i mean a neat lil fight....I'm talkin full on dirty cooke bs.. I am seriously tired of the liberties being taken on pens stars....not even just pens as a lot of other teams stars are getting this too(more of an impact on us it seems the last two years tho) I dont care for one loss to dallas or going down to four D for one night. A message needs to be sent at some point, because the league isnt sendin the message right. Shanny started to do it right in the preseason and then it seems he was told we cant have too many suspensions and poof we are back to square one.

I think you need to watch it again from behind...he clearly changes his path from going to the puck to ploughing right through letang's head. Furthermore these players know who had been hurt before and who to target for this kind of thing. This is a sick play that belongs no where near the NHL anymore. I can't stand milbury and jones and even they see it the right way. Jones seems to be one of the most anit pens guys out there to boot.

I would have done the same thing Nystrom did, that's all I know. Letang needed to be more responsible, Bylsma seemed to hint at it as well.
