He didn't lift his elbow. He kept his elbow and hands down and tried to catch Letang with the shoulder. Letangs face hit's Nystroms bicep because he lowers himself to that level by reaching. If he had stayed straight up Nystrom hits him in the chest.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Letang IS concussed again that he would be out a few playoff games or series... This is a very short time since his last one.

One thing that just pisses me right off, is that a play like that is clearly a suspension at the very worst a hearing and a fine. Why the 2 min rough?? These kinds of plays need to be automatic 5 and a game!! If Nystrom gets killed in the second or third it will be on the league. After our boys see that kinda play better, they should be head hunting!! I am so tired of this crap with our stars!! I'd rather lose asham or endo for a 10 game suspension to send a damn message at this point..enough is enough!!
