I hate that the media is assuming concussion. There is no possible way the pens could have let him return after the last incident. Hopefully he's OK.

It's in the fabric of the Pens. And with the mustache contest every month they have found a way to train for something that can earn them extra points while still having fun. Win win if you ask me.

If they don't they are stupid... Just looking at last years numbers, the average team had 10 or so shootouts. That's 10 points up for grabs when playoff seedings/getting into playoffs come down to a point or two.

I don't think they do. I was reading the flyers board earlier this year when they were taking Lavi to task for not making it a regular part of practice.

Whether you like the shootout or not, points are there for the taking and there really shouldn't be an excuse for not practicing it.
