So from Canuck's fans...

How did you guys think kassian did last night??

Were you guys mad he didn't drop the gloves when challenged twice?

I know I heard earlier you guys liked his skating ability as a big guy and that he had soft hands.

Didn't a blog say he was playing Center? I don't know if he ever played the pivot in Buffalo.

- JVince117

No. Too risky we need him healthy.

Guarantee AV told him not to fight anyways, especially in a one goal game

He did take 3 faceoffs last night, but I'm guessing that the center had been tossed and he went in to take those few. He was 2 of 3 though. But he's always been listed as a winger. I don't think he's ever played center.

I think he was center some in Jr but I don't see him having a future as a center in the pros.

I only saw a little and he played as well as a guy who just arrived probably would. The Canucks offense is tough for a lot of players to get into the groove of since its so dependent on movement and little turns and lanes and stuff.

I don't care if he fights as long as he plays better than Raymond.

Cody is an undeniable talent and will be a rockstar for Buffalo but he hasn't even played a game yet. Let's at least dial it back to a chubby
- AK3

I'm looking forward to watching him play in a more offensive role.

His size and foot speed was a concern in Vancouver, and people say he succeeded playing against 2nd and 3rd d pairings.

This trade can't be evaluated for a few years... unless the Canucks win the Cup this year.

Ehrhoff was brutal when he first arrived as well. All he was good for was the odd rush and then missing the net by 8 feet.
- DTF69

Well hope he works out for you.He s been brutal here the whole year except on the stat sheets if you belive what they tell you.

He's very good against the boards... That's all I've noticed about him in his short time here.

And in a cap era to pay a 4th line guy long term 3+ mil is bad business IMO.

Your entire 4th line should come in around 3-4mil.

- dadeadhead

Gaustad could easily be a 3rd line center. He bring alotto the table and woudl be worth 3 mill.
Besides, he makes 2.5 now, he will get a raise.

That was the only thing he did consistently here. But, the rest can be worked on. I wish Stafford played more like him along the boards.

I think he's more of a replacement for Salo. They want him to stay healthy so I see some maintenance games for him coming up like they did against NJ.

I love when that happens. I love to watch an east coast game and then a west coast. Nothing like a full night of hockey. It makes me happy.

How much does Burke over-rate his players?? Schenn for Hodgson? Seriously. Schenn gets the hype, but play does not equal up. We wouldn't even talk about him if he wasn't drafted so high

PK and faceoffs.

Other than that he's a 4th line grinding center.

If Schenn spent another year in Junior where he could have developed his puck skills better he would be a much better defenseman pro than he is now. I never agree with teams that plug an 18yr old Dman into a roster. Failure rate is far higher than the success rate.

I think they just need to get him some confidence back. The opposition realized that if they pressure him even the littlest bit, he would turn the puck over. He was afraid of the pressure coming at him and it forced him to make bad decisions. They just need to get him to stop panicking and get his swagger back.
