My bad. Center Ice channel 11, which won't help you much.

I really hope Lindy throws CoHo out there with Vanek and Pommer to see what he can do. If he puts him out there with PK and Boyes I'm gonna be pissed.

im not happy with all the comments about ennis being traded as soon as the draft hits. Hes been hard working, one of our bets players as soon as the switch to center. Hes not going to make crazy money, pretty affordable. Roy would most likely get the better return anyway and more space is freed up

I can see him signing a 3 year deal worth 2 mill per.

2-3mil and IMO he'll be looking more towards the 3 side.

Hope I'm wrong.

I was the 1st to say Goose was landing a 1st .

Pierce was betting me I was on crack for saying it.

They were
Goose
Grags
Boyes
Sekera
Ellis

Does it matter really? Even the "experts" missed on some which is what my point was.

that was a real revelation considering what other trades brought-

Don't worry, you are.
Maybe, maybe, possibly a sniff over $2 against the cap over a few years.

Gerbe had 31 points in his rookie campaign and Ennis had 49
Gerbe has 22 points this year in 51 games, Ennis 12 in 28

Gerbe got a ~1.4M per cap hit, Sabres could use Gerbe and give Ennis only a slight upgrade above what Gerbe got. I think the injury hurts him from asking and getting that much.

I'd accept a $3M a year hit if he signed it long term, because i think in 2 years staying healthy he'll show hes worth more than that down the road.

Could be, looks like Vigneault is sampling him throughout the lines right now. You'd think if he could get chemistry with Kessler that would be pretty dynamic.

Forecheck from hell. Truth is, it looks like Booth may have hurt his shoulder with about 5 mins left. I hope not, but it did look a little awkward in the corner.

Ennis could get an offer sheet.

Not sure teams thought much of Gerbe to waste the time of throwing an offer sheet at.

Plus you still have to give to get is they are going to go the trade route for a center. Any center making more than Roy might have Ennis added to to have cap spce to make moves. I don't think they want to have to work the cap like they did this past year.

the offer sheet thing is true, i just dont see how we go from having "no centers" like everybody has claimed to "trade our two top 6 centers"

Leino, Pysyk, Nash 1st, and both 2nds for Stastny and a 3rd.

Its a dream and an over payment but it gets Leino's contract off the books and allows you to keep Ennis.

Move Roy for picks to help fit in Stastny

Vanek/Stastny/Pommer
Ennis/CoHo/Staff
Gerbe/???/Kaleta
Foligno/Cody/Tropp

Ellis.

Like I said one can dream.

I remember your post.
Let's face it, all we had to do was look at the market.
Once Gill, Kubina and Moore set the standard, predicting Gaustad for a 1st was a no-brainer.

measuring tape???
