He can be moved for picks and prospects.


Take those added to the 20-30th pick and the 2 second rounders and you have a nice base to get Stastny if that is who they target.

I wish we would target Eric Staal in the off season but the Canes won't move him even though they should consider changing things there. Another option is keeping Roy and making a big push for Parise as a UFA.

One guy at my work called him Joe Sakic. Hell, even our blogger thinks he'll be the best in the world. Personally, he might play in another all-star game or two but I wouldn't bank on it. He'll be your top notch 2C for years to come is my guess. Now you'll just have to go out and find that #1.

Dude, although I'm sad to see Cody leave he was stuck behind 2 great players. Tell me you wouldn't of been more excited to see Hank or Kes get traded to Buffalo. I'm one of the few people out there that thinks this deal makes sense for both teams. We still have Schneids to move to help us get back another top prospect.

I would give that to Parise and maybe Stafford has some leverage being his best friend. They don't have to deal Roy in the offseason they can do it next deadline too.
