I just want him to go out and play like he has for the last few weeks. He hasn't been completely stellar, but he certainly looks more like the goalie we expected to see all season. Can we just have that?
- HonkFortheGoose

I hope so , I like the way he has been playing so I do hope he keeps the play up. But it could hamper his play for a bit . Lets hope it doesn;t bother him too long

First of all Mr. Miller lets get one thing straight........... YOU ARE PAID TO PLAY HOCKEY, NOT WINE ABOUT SOMEONE BEING TRADED....... JUST GET OUT THERE AND PLAY HOCKEY, TAKE YOUR PAYCHECK AND SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!!!!!!

Hhahaha yepp. Probably one of the top two. Can't see him pissed at Terry. He's been good of late and I think we got a tad better at the deadline soo.
- SabresOnAWarpath

I think we got way better.

Don't have to worry about what to do with Grags in the offseason. Sulzer won't be resigned. McNabb doesn't get held back having to play in the AHL.

IMO Kassian will never be more than a 3rd liner. For Vancouver that might be a great option, in Buffalo that wasn't going to fly. Foligno and Tropp don't have worry about fighting for call up time. They both have a spot on the team in the near future which made moving Kassian less painful.

Hodgson makes moving Roy a hell of a lot easier.

Really? Wouldn't know it considering you're a bottom dweller in the East.
- keatondixon

Philly has the most goals scored in the East. You wouldnt know it by their playoff ranking because of their lack of goaltending.

Ruff did mention that foligno has moved up the ladder on call ups now that Kass is gone

Hes not "jumping" all over you, hes giving you his opinion.

And for whats it worth, you kind of do the same thing to other people with your opinion. You often come off arrogant.

Also, yes, I am arrogant.

It says "sources" not "Miller." There's a big difference. He came out and said he didn't want to be traded nor did he ask to be. Go find some other board to troll on.
- HonkFortheGoose

There's more articles - anyways - engaging you in hockey talk has proved futile

From the Toronto area viewpoint - it looks like Miller is pretty unhappy this year - I would be too if my newlywed wife was on the other coast - and especially if she looked like his wife!

He needs a change - and doing a makeover of the team did not quite work out - but the Sabres clearly won the Kassian deal hands down - a good step forward

While it's definitely not anywhere near the majority, it's kind of amusing how many people think trading Gaustad for a 1st was a bad idea because he was "tough" and "won faceoffs".

Hey not gonna say I told you so but I did say he'd net a 1st.

That said when Pahlsson was moved for 2 4th rounders I was like rut row I might've been way off the mark.

Mark my words......

We won't be drafting with that pick, it will be flipped to either move up in the draft or to get another top 6 center via trade.

I mean that right now for this current season we got a tad better. Added scoring. Didn't lose any of the current offense (or should I say potential offense). For the future we got a hole lot better. The trade for Cody was one that I still can't believe happened. I'm still estatic.

Do people on here realize that we may make the playoffs....It is becoming a legit possibility.... Just based off the terribleness of other teams and are team not being as terrible as our record from the first 3/4 of the season.....

Darcy's best work since he got Heinze and Audette for the 00/01 playoff run.

I still think McNabb plays in the A next year. I'd rather him be there than the 7th here. Is there actually anyone coming off the book for D after this season (other than Sulzer?) I have a feeling we'll see Brennan brought up to be the 7th Dman before McNabb.

You did. You told me people were stupid...I just didn't think they were that stupid.

Of course, we'll never know if someone offered a 1st for Leopold. Nobody ever asked the question, so Darcy didn't have to answer.

I'm not holding my breath nor does another 1st round exit do anything for me anymore.

Reminds me of the 80's when they exited the 1st round almost yearly.

I felt the same way. From all the chatter that was going on I felt that Goose could get a 1st. Then Pahlsson got traded and I thought if that's all the return was going to be for Goose that we would be better off keeping him. Darcy somehow managed to pull it off though. Gotta give him some credit.
