Bailey playing best game of season probably. - Isles316
I'd say so, if not then definitely one of his best. Okposo may be having one of his worst. Two dumb penalties and he looks lost out there. |

So you brought it up to see what we thought, but when I pointed out that I thought it was totally illogical, that means I'm acting like a 10 year old? Got it. - eichiefs9

Islanders forward PA Parenteau comment on the trade deadline: "I never wanted to go anywhere else."

Nash said that the other day too...and then we find out the truth |

After Cappy gets fired, if that happens at some point, the next head coach of this team will be Doug Weight. You can bank on it. Doug was a great hockey player and very well respected around the NHL. However, that does NOT make him head coach material. Once we move on from Cappy, I want a LEGIT head coach with NHL experience in here. I am sick of the coaching experiments already. Legit coach needed. No more Cappys, no more Gordons, no more Sterlings.... - NewYawkIslandez
Agreed...good players for some reason make lousy coaches...this is all sports not just hockey... |

He definitely has it but he's been so noticeably terrible tonight. Above and beyond the call of duty. |

I hope they're good friends and he can somehow magically sell Parise on the Islanders...I just don't think there's any chance in hell it'll happen. - eichiefs9

Would be wonderful but like a broken record I sound... Need arena news before anyone considers. It's one of the reasons the pressure is on Wang to get something worked out. Nobody will sign here unless they know where they will be playing in 2 years.
Looking at Dale Hunter makes me cringe. |

We definitely have the cap space, that's about all we have going for us in that race. |

Bailey looks real good. Okposo needs something a big hit a fight he is non exisent out there. Nice to see Jack finally changed the lines. |

I try to think of the situation like this...If Wang announces some sort of Arena news, the Isles can make mega offers to Parise and Suter. We need a big showing of fans at the Brooklyn game. I hope all of you can make it.
However we all know Wang will remain silent and we won't do crap to improve our team in the offseason. This is a huge offseason for Snow but if his hands are tied by Wangs silence, then can you truly blame Garth for any lack of added talent? I don't know if you really can. |

How did we lose this game? I was soo good yesterday. I did not even come on the forum yesterday and rip Snow and Wang about the trade deadline and now to lose a game like this. |

Bailey cost us this game.... couldnt clear off the boards lead to face off in zone for tying goal. Mishandled the puck for the winner. Butchie will say he had a great game because he scored. |

He's not the only reason we lost, but that turnover in OT was atrocious. Typical Bailey..a few flashes of skill, followed up by a heaping dose of pure garbage. |

I hate this piece of poop team. How the (frank) do you blow a 2-0 lead with less than 4 minutes left to a team and building that was completely uninterested in winning this game?
They should have traded anything for anything. Anything is better than nothing. Yeah, I'm a little pissed right now, but that was (frank)ing pathetic. Season over. |
