My winners: The Rangers. I hate the Rangers with passion being a Florida fan. But I was so worried I was going to check my twitter and see Rick Nash heading to NY for Callahan, Kreiger, Del Zotto, a 1st, and a conditional. What a RIDICULOUS asking price for a player very equal, stat wise, to Tomas Vanek. Sather did it right today. Nashville did well, but the 1st rd pick for Gaustad was a little much.

Everyone in Van started at noon, as soon as their golden boy was traded. Myself, I like the move as it helps address current needs. Sad to see Cody leave but he wasn't going to crack the top 6 anyways.

I'm glad you're one of the level headed 'nuck fans. God, I've been hearing ALL day how the trade was terrible and every time I have to mention how Kesler and Sedin were always going to be ahead of him unless an injury and atleast now you have a gritty young player who gives your group a bit more toughness. Who knows, maybe he can also provide a scoring touch when needed.

I'm pretty sure his back is fine, they just couldn't figure out what the problem was for the longest time.

Although not a cup contender, I see Ottawa as a winner but not specifically for today. Made a huge move scooping everyone on Kyle Turris in November, filled a depth issue in net by picking up a mature Giant goaltender that doesn't need development for a second round pick in 2013 and moved Brian Lee to pick up a more stable all around d-man. Great pick-ups without sacrificing the re-build. Good work Murray and company.
